Early Years SEN Teacher – Small Class (5‑8)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Early Years Teacher to join a small specialist class of six pupils aged 5‑8. The role focuses on delivering a child‑centred Early Years curriculum while supporting each child's individual needs in a calm, well‑resourced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a class of six pupils, building strong relationships and personalised learning plans.
• Design and deliver engaging, creative lessons aligned with the Early Years curriculum.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and specialists to enhance learning outcomes.
• Implement strategies that support communication, social development, and emotional wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in Early Years or SEN settings is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
• Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education.
• Enthusiastic, warm, and able to inspire young learners.
