Early Years SEN Teacher – Specialist Autism Support

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Early Years SEN Teacher to support young children with autism and developmental needs in our specialist early years provision. This permanent, full‑time position starts as soon as possible and offers a salary of £38,000‑£50,000 per year.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based learning tailored to each child’s developmental stage and EHCP targets.
- Collaborate with therapists, behaviour practitioners and teaching assistants to provide an integrated approach.
- Support communication, early language, social interaction, sensory development and school readiness.
- Create a nurturing, structured and stimulating environment that builds confidence and independence.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience in early years teaching, preferably with children on the autism spectrum or with additional needs.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early intervention strategies.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
