About the role

We are looking for a passionate Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Gillingham, Medway, starting September 2026. This full‑time permanent position offers the chance to shape young learners’ first educational experiences in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the EYFS curriculum, ensuring engaging, child‑centred lessons.
• Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
• Assess and monitor each child’s progress, adapting approaches as needed.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support holistic development.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding.

Required profile

• Recognised Early Years teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality teaching and positive outcomes for all pupils.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a school community.
