About the role
First Place Nurseries in Radlett is seeking a proactive Early Years Teacher (Level 6) to deliver high‑quality care and education for young children. You will help create a safe, stimulating environment where children thrive and families feel supported.
Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of a holistic early years curriculum that promotes emotional, social and physical development.
- Influence and shape nursery practices, sharing collective responsibility for implementation.
- Encourage continuous improvement by welcoming staff suggestions and new ideas.
- Assist with effective assessment, recording and reporting of children’s progress.
- Maintain strong partnerships with families through regular communication and updates.
Required profile
- Passionate about early years education and child development.
- Proactive, collaborative and able to work within a supportive team.
- Committed to delivering high standards of care and learning.
Required skills

- Up to £14.62 per hour, reviewed regularly based on experience and qualifications.
