Early Years Teaching Assistant (2‑Year‑Old Nursery)

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to support children in the 2‑Year‑Old provision of a welcoming primary school in Camden. The role starts as soon as possible or in September 2026 and runs full‑time during term time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am‑4:00 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Support children within the 2‑Year‑Old provision and nursery setting.
- Assist the delivery of engaging, play‑based learning activities.
- Encourage communication, social and emotional development.
- Provide support to the class teacher and the wider Early Years team.
- Create a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment.
Required profile
- Level 2 Early Years qualification (preferred).
- Experience working with children in an Early Years or nursery setting.
- Good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
- Caring, patient and proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
