Early Years Teaching Assistant – Brent Area

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a Brent‑area school in September 2026. You will work closely with teachers to create a nurturing environment where young learners feel safe, confident and curious.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for early years pupils.
• Run a dedicated nurture group for SEN children, fostering inclusion and wellbeing.
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities.
• Maintain a calm, caring classroom atmosphere and uphold safeguarding standards.
• Promote the school’s values of fairness, compassion and community.

Required profile

• Patient, resilient and kind with a genuine passion for supporting children.
• Enjoys teamwork and shows up each day with purpose.
• Experience supporting primary‑aged or early years children.
• Eager to continue learning and developing professionally.

• No specific technical skills required.
