Early Years Teaching Assistant – Full‑time Reception (Preston)

About the role
This position is for an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to support the reception class at a Good‑rated primary school in Preston. The role starts in September and runs for the full academic year on a full‑time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- Support children with daily routines, learning activities and personal care.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
- Help prepare resources and materials for lessons.
- Monitor and record children’s progress and behaviour.
Required profile
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an Early Years setting.
- Enhanced DBS clearance and willingness to undergo reference checks.
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Commitment to attend a registration interview.
