About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to support a mainstream primary school's nursery in South Liverpool. The successful candidate will help deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) programme, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for young children.
Key responsibilities
- Support the care, learning and development of children in line with EYFS standards.
- Assist the Nursery Practitioner or Room Leader with daily activities, routines and play‑based learning.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and promote inclusive practice for all children, including those with SEND.
- Observe, monitor and record children’s progress and wellbeing.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
Required profile
- Previous experience working in a mainstream or private nursery.
- Relevant early years qualification.
- Ability to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
