Early Years Teaching Assistant / Nursery Nurse (Full‑time, Term‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant/Nursery Nurse to join an outstanding primary school in the London Borough of Redbridge. The role is full‑time, term‑time only, and offers a supportive environment with excellent training opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Work across Nursery and Reception classes.
• Deliver phonics, spelling, reading and writing sessions.
• Assist with general classroom duties and support mild SEN needs.
• Provide 1:1 and group booster sessions for pupils.

Required profile

• Level 2 or 3 CACHE qualification in childcare.
• Level 6 qualification or degree in childcare or education.
• Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Experience in a school setting or private nursery.
• Enthusiasm for working with young children and strong teamwork skills.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

• Term‑time contract from September 2026 to July 2027, with permanent status from July 2027.
• Competitive daily rate of £92‑£120.
• Full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑3:30 pm.
