Early Years Teaching Assistant – Nursery & Reception

About the role
Join a vibrant early years setting in Manchester, supporting young learners in nursery and reception classes. As a Teaching Assistant you will help children develop through play, phonics, speech and language activities, and outdoor experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering play‑based learning activities.
- Support phonics and speech‑language sessions to enhance communication skills.
- Facilitate outdoor learning and personal‑social development activities.
- Prepare and organise learning resources and classroom environments.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to children as needed.
Required profile
- Passion for working with young children in an EYFS setting.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (desirable but not mandatory).
- Reliable, flexible and able to adapt to the needs of a dynamic classroom.
