Early Years Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools

About the role
Join Reed Education as an Early Years Teaching Assistant and support local primary schools in delivering high‑quality early learning. You will work alongside qualified teachers to create a safe, engaging environment for young children.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organised classroom that promotes learning.
- Monitor and record children’s progress against developmental milestones.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lesson plans.
- Support individual and group activities that enhance social and cognitive development.
Required profile
- Relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification).
- Enhanced DBS check clearance.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
Required skills
- Basic classroom management.
- Ability to record and report child progress accurately.
