Early Years Teaching Assistant – South Leeds

About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to support our youngest learners in a primary school in South Leeds. The role involves providing academic and behavioural assistance, helping to create a safe and engaging classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
- Provide individual support to early years students as needed.
- Monitor student behaviour and maintain a positive, safe classroom atmosphere.
- Grade assignments and give constructive feedback.
- Help with administrative tasks such as preparing lesson materials and organising the classroom.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the teacher or school principal.
Required profile
- Previous experience as an early years teaching assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Passion for education and a desire to help students reach their potential.

- Competitive daily rate of £75‑£85 per day.
