About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Economics & Business Studies teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Lambeth. The role starts full‑time in September 2026 and involves teaching motivated students across Key Stages 4 and 5.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Economics and Business Studies lessons.
- Assess student progress and prepare learners for GCSE and A‑Level examinations.
- Use data to track achievement and inform planning.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
- Participate in the wider life of the department and school community.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Relevant degree in Economics, Business Studies or a closely related subject.
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting; ECTs are encouraged to apply.
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to challenge all learners.
- Effective classroom and behaviour management.
