About the role
Academics is seeking Early Career Teachers (ECT) to work as daily supply teachers across primary schools in the Aylesbury Vale area. This flexible, part‑time role allows you to choose the days and hours that suit your lifestyle while gaining valuable classroom experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum in line with school policies.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
- Adapt lesson plans quickly to meet the needs of each class.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Knowledge of EYFS, KS1 and KS2 through training or placement experience.
- Motivated, flexible and passionate about primary education.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
Required skills
- Classroom management techniques.
- Curriculum planning for early years and primary phases.
