EDI Manager – Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Lead

About the role
The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Manager will lead SGN’s EDI agenda, ensuring policies, training and data insights create a fair and high‑performing workplace. Reporting across all levels, from executives to front‑line staff, you will embed inclusive behaviours and support employee networks.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, deliver and continuously improve SGN’s EDI strategy, policies and action plans.
- Provide expert advice to leaders and managers on inclusive culture and best EDI practices.
- Identify organisation‑wide learning needs and design workshops, campaigns and resources.
- Analyse workforce data, surveys and network feedback to spot trends and shape initiatives.
- Build internal and external partnerships with staff networks, EDI bodies and sector groups.
Required profile
- Relevant HR, organisational development, social sciences or EDI qualification, or substantial EDI delivery experience.
- Coaching/mentoring qualification and specialist EDI certification (e.g., unconscious bias, inclusive leadership) is advantageous.
- Proven experience designing and delivering EDI strategies and policies in a comparable industry.
- Strong knowledge of EDI legislation, best practice and organisational application.
- Experience conducting EDI data analysis and reporting.

- Salary £80k‑£85k per annum, dependent on skills and qualifications.
