Education Delivery Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading education services provider, is seeking an experienced Education Delivery Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of high‑quality alternative education programmes. The role combines strategic oversight with operational leadership to ensure safeguarding, quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the education delivery function, ensuring consistently high standards of quality, safeguarding, compliance and learner outcomes.
• Provide strategic oversight across education delivery, monitoring performance, operational effectiveness and driving continuous service improvement.
• Develop and lead a high‑performing education team, fostering a culture of accountability, professional development and excellence.
• Build strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities and external partners.
• Contribute to organisational planning and service development using educational expertise and performance insights.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent Designated Safeguarding Lead experience.
• Significant leadership experience within education, SEND, alternative provision or specialist education.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, quality assurance, compliance and stakeholder management.
• Commercial awareness with excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
