Education Recruitment Consultant – Southampton

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking an Education Recruitment Consultant to join its fast‑growing Southampton team. You will work within an award‑winning agency that values internal promotion and offers strong earning potential for motivated individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Business Development – generate new opportunities through outbound calls, networking, referrals and client visits.
• Client Relationship Management – build and maintain lasting relationships with schools, ensuring repeat business and identifying additional staffing needs.
• Candidate Sourcing – source, interview and register teachers, teaching assistants, cover supervisors and support staff.
• End‑to‑End Recruitment – manage the full recruitment cycle from client brief to candidate placement, handling daily bookings, last‑minute cover and emergency staffing.
• Consultative Expertise – advise clients on recruitment trends, salary benchmarking and market solutions.
• Negotiation – agree rates, terms of business and placement details with both clients and candidates.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial spirit with strong business acumen and a money‑motivated attitude.
• Exceptional communication skills, drive and ambition.
• Previous experience in recruitment or B2B sales.
