Electrical Apprentice

About the role

Tradebe UK is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to support qualified electricians on residential, commercial and industrial projects. You will gain hands‑on experience installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems while developing a solid foundation in electrical theory and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist electricians with the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Fit switches, outlets, circuit breakers and other components under supervision.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Test circuits, diagnose faults and help troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hazard‑free work environment.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth project execution.

Required profile

• Demonstrated mechanical, numerical and verbal reasoning abilities.
• Curiosity and a strong willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of electrical theory and principles.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safety procedures.
