Electrical Assembler & Fitter

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Assembler & Fitter to join a well‑established electro‑mechanical manufacturing business in Wincanton. The role is based in a modern, clean workshop and offers a stable Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with no night or weekend work.

Key responsibilities

• Build, wire and install electrical equipment and control panels according to engineering specifications.
• Repair and refurbish control panels, motors and drives.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to service and test assembled units.
• Maintain a tidy and safe workshop environment.

Required profile

• Experience in panel wiring, control‑panel building or similar electrical assembly roles.
• Ability to work independently within a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule.
• Based within a commutable distance of Wincanton (e.g., Yeovil, Gillingham, Shepton Mallet, Glastonbury, Warminster).
• Electrical qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
