About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Assembler to join a leading manufacturer of advanced electrical components serving aerospace, defence and automotive sectors. The role is based in Stroud and offers a permanent, full‑time position working Monday‑Friday, 8am‑4pm.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble electrical components, sub‑assemblies and printed‑circuit‑board (PCB) units.
- Use a range of hand tools safely and accurately to build and wire assemblies.
- Interpret technical drawings and work instructions to carry out wiring and component placement.
- Solder electronic parts where required.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
Required profile
- Enjoys practical, hands‑on work and takes pride in product quality.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and reliable work ethic.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a production team.
Required skills
- Experience in electrical or electronic assembly (preferred).
- PCB assembly experience (desirable).
- Basic soldering skills (training provided if needed).
- Proficiency with hand tools and electrical wiring.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings or instructions.
