Electrical Assembler – Rolling Stock (Goole)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Electrical Assemblers to join a large team delivering London’s new underground fleet for the Piccadilly line. Working at Siemens Mobility’s state‑of‑the‑art facility in Goole, you will contribute to the manufacture of rolling stock by assembling electro‑mechanical components safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Crimp and terminate electrical looms or similar wiring harnesses.
• Assemble and connect plugs according to layout plans.
• Route cables following detailed schematics.
• Document all activities using glass or paper systems.
• Follow production instructions and use the correct tooling.
• Perform regular quality, visual and functional tests.

Required profile

• Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing, maintenance or overhaul environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Self‑starter with strong organisational skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Competitive PAYE hourly rate of £18.86, rising to £21.32 for weekend overtime.
