Electrical Calibration Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Calibration Engineer to join our UKAS‑accredited laboratory in Paulton. You will work on a variety of calibration projects, ensuring all measurements meet strict UKAS and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform calibration of electrical DC and LF equipment, as well as dimensional, mechanical, temperature, torque, pressure and mass instruments.
• Maintain traceable and auditable records of work, data and results using Indysoft and our internal database.
• Follow UKAS calibration procedures and BS EN ISO 17025 standards.
• Support customers by delivering calibrated equipment that meets their specific requirements.
• Collaborate with the laboratory team to uphold quality and safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a calibration laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of UKAS standards and BS EN ISO 17025.
• Technical qualification such as HNC, NVQ/BTEC or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in a customer‑focused, team‑oriented setting.

Required skills

• Electrical DC & LF calibration.
• Use of Indysoft calibration software.
• Proficiency with Windows‑based operating systems.
