Electrical Compliance Manager

About the role

Fixatex Ltd is seeking an Electrical Compliance Manager to provide technical leadership and governance across its electrical, fire and maintenance contracts. Reporting to the Head of Compliance & Quality Assurance, you will act as the senior technical authority ensuring all work meets legislation, British Standards and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to contract managers, supervisors and engineers.
• Review and update technical policies, procedures and inspection methodologies.
• Conduct technical audits, site inspections and quality reviews.
• Investigate non‑conformances, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Support mobilisation of new contracts by assessing technical and compliance requirements.
• Lead preparation for NICEIC, BAFE and other industry accreditation audits.
• Develop competency frameworks, deliver training and ensure staff maintain qualifications and CPD.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior technical authority in electrical and fire compliance.
• Strong knowledge of UK electrical legislation, British Standards and accreditation requirements.
• Ability to support operational teams, mentor staff and manage complex technical issues.
• Experience delivering technical training, competency assessments and apprenticeship support.
