Electrical Contracts Manager – Scotland

About the role

As Electrical Contracts Manager you will be responsible for delivering multiple electrical building services projects across Scotland, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple electrical building services projects simultaneously.
• Lead project delivery teams across a range of sectors.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget and quality expectations.
• Manage subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Monitor project performance and resource allocation.
• Work closely with commercial teams to manage costs, variations and valuations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards.
• Attend progress meetings and report on project performance.
• Support the business in securing repeat and negotiated work opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager within the Building Services sector.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical installations and M&E project delivery.
• Experience delivering projects ranging from £1m to £20m+.
• Excellent commercial awareness and contract management skills.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• A recognised Electrical qualification.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous experience within defence, healthcare, data centre, education or large‑scale commercial projects (advantageous).
