Electrical Design Manager (Building Services)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to lead building‑services projects for defence, healthcare and education clients. The role is fully remote, offering flexible hours and the chance to work on multi‑million‑pound schemes across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review LV network distribution, lighting, fire and security system designs.
• Produce detailed electrical specifications and attend virtual site meetings.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet budget, schedule and client requirements.
• Oversee design documentation, conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance.

Required profile

• Qualified Electrical Design Engineer with a strong building‑services background.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale projects in the MoD, healthcare or education sectors.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage workload remotely.
