Electrical–Electronics Assembly and Service Technician

About the role

Towercraft UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical‑Electronics Assembly and Service Technician to join its London operations team. You will install, test and service advanced robotic façade cleaning systems across the UK, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality performance while supporting occasional international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, wire and commission Towercraft robotic façade cleaning systems.
• Perform daily operational and safety inspections on site.
• Identify, diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults.
• Support routine and preventive maintenance programmes.
• Prepare detailed reports using digital documentation tools.
• Ensure all work complies with UK HSE and electrical safety standards.
• Liaise with engineering and operations teams to drive continuous improvements.
• Assist in training new technicians when required.

Required profile

• Degree or vocational qualification in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in field service, assembly or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to travel nationwide.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).

Required skills

• Electrical wiring and low‑voltage installations.
• Assembly and commissioning of robotic systems.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and troubleshooting of electronic faults.
• Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with E‑plan or similar electrical design software (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of PLC‑based control systems.
• Experience with control panels and automation systems.
