Electrical Engineer - Building Services

About the role

The Electrical Engineer – Building Services will lead the electrical design for a diverse portfolio of construction projects, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality building services solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical building services design across a variety of projects.
• Manage project budgets, client relationships and multidisciplinary teams.
• Produce and review drawings, specifications, reports and cost estimates.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure quality, compliance and risk management.
• Support business growth through bid preparation and mentoring junior engineers.

Required profile

• HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline.
• Member of a professional institution such as CIBSE or IET, or working towards chartered status.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

What we offer

• Salary range £40,000 – £50,000 per year.
• 6% pension contribution.
