Electrical Engineer – MEP Design (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our MEP team, delivering high‑quality electrical building services designs across public and private sector projects. The role offers flexible hybrid working, with occasional travel to our offices in Liverpool, Manchester or Leeds.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on large, multidisciplinary projects from concept through construction.
• Provide expert advice on electrical building services and ensure compliance with CIBSE/IET standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop sustainable, cost‑effective solutions.
• Drive innovation through BIM adoption and sustainable design practices.
• Manage project costs, risks and stakeholder engagement throughout the lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Member of CIBSE or IET, Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
• Strong M&E design experience, preferably on both public and private sector projects.
• Ability to meet BPSS security requirements and hold a full driving licence.
