Electrical Estimator & Contracts Manager – Commercial

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Contracts Manager to support our client’s commercial projects. You will lead the tender process, manage contracts and ensure accurate cost forecasting for electrical works.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit electrical tenders, meeting all deadlines.
• Produce and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) during tender stages.
• Price procurement items, sub‑contractors and specialist services, and identify long‑lead items.
• Measure works and compile itemised Bills of Quantities as required.
• Finalize tender bids, attend pre‑order meetings, secure contracts and hand over packages to M&E Contracts Managers.
• Liaise with clients on project variations, ensuring proper recording and instruction.
• Maintain accurate estimating records using company estimating software and Microsoft Office tools.

Required profile

• Fully qualified electrician with proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, preferably in a commercial or industrial environment.
• Strong commercial and industrial estimating background.
• Ability to work accurately with minimal supervision and under pressure.
• Full driving licence; CSCS and DBS advantageous.
