Electrical Estimator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our client’s expanding team in Horley. The role involves preparing accurate and competitive tenders for a variety of commercial and industrial electrical projects, working closely with operational teams to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Carry out take‑offs and cost analysis.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identify value‑engineering opportunities where appropriate.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers throughout the tender process.
• Support project handovers to the delivery teams.
• Produce RAMS for handover.
• Maintain accurate estimating records and tender documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator.
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience using estimating software is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
