Electrical Estimator

About the role

We are seeking a permanent Electrical Estimator to join a well‑established building services and construction firm in London. Based near King’s Cross, you will lead the electrical services quoting process and mentor junior estimators.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate electrical services quotes for data‑centre, shell & core and multi‑million‑pound projects.
• Manage tender and cost processes, reviewing and maintaining costing sheets.
• Conduct site surveys and investigations, liaising with clients and internal legal, contracts and technical teams.
• Use estimating software to produce and report cost estimates.
• Participate in team meetings and provide mentorship to junior staff.

Required profile

• Proven career in electrical estimating within building services or construction.
• Experience on data‑centre, shell & core or large‑scale projects.
• Strong organisational, communication and time‑management abilities.
• Relevant qualification such as a craft apprenticeship, HNC/HND or engineering degree.

• Salary £70,000‑£90,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
