Electrical Facilities Engineer – Commercial (Cambridge)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing multi‑disciplinary property services provider as an Electrical Facilities Engineer working on commercial and residential projects across a 45‑minute Cambridge patch. You will be the go‑to electrician, handling a variety of tasks from routine PAT testing to full rewiring and solar installations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and reactive repairs on commercial and residential sites.
• Perform PAT testing, fault finding and diagnostics.
• Install and commission solar PV systems and EV charging points.
• Work autonomously on small jobs and as part of a team on larger projects.
• Collaborate closely with the Electrical Team Lead and other departments.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician holding BS 7671 2391 inspection and 18th Edition qualifications.
• Willingness to travel within a 45‑minute radius of Cambridge.
• Desire to develop skills in commercial, renewable and facilities engineering.
