Electrical Fitter – Gloucester

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join a well‑established engineering organisation in Gloucester. You will work on industrial projects, interpreting electrical drawings and installing components to ensure reliable machine operation.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and fix cable trays, trunking and conduits.
• Assemble electrical wiring looms according to engineering specifications.
• Use electrical measuring equipment for testing and verification.
• Drill and tap components as required.
• Complete soldered connections and electrical panel terminations.
• Assemble termination boxes, plugs and other electrical components.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Previous experience in industrial electrical panel wiring and machine wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Self‑motivated with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
