Electrical Fitter – High Voltage (HV)

About the role

Do you have a background working within high‑voltage (HV) environments and are you looking for a new role with an expanding business? Key responsibilities

• Install and assemble high‑voltage equipment such as switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers and structural steelwork within DNO environments.
• Perform mechanical and electrical fitting, cable installation, terminations, earthing and bonding, and support testing and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians and other team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure efficient operation of high‑voltage systems.

Required profile

• Proven background as a high‑voltage (HV) fitter or similar role.
• Experience working in DNO, solar or related high‑voltage environments.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Installation of high‑voltage equipment (switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers).
• Cable installation and terminations.
• Earthing and bonding.
• Testing and commissioning of HV systems.
• Mechanical fitting.
