Electrical Improver – Sub‑Contract (Clean‑room Fit‑out)

About the role

We are seeking a self‑employed Electrical Improver to join a clean‑room fit‑out project on a warehouse site. The role starts immediately and involves primarily containment and trunking installation during the first five weeks, followed by second‑fix, testing and wiring tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Install containment systems, metal trunking, baskets and trays.
• Fit trapeze support systems and hang rods using Lindapter systems.
• Carry out second‑fix support, testing and wiring after the containment phase.
• Read and interpret electrical and technical drawings.
• Work on a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with optional Saturday overtime.

Required profile

• Self‑employed CIS contractor with own tools and van.
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3, ECS, IPAF operator certificate and CSCS card.
• Immediate availability to start on 07/07/2026.
• Strong attention to detail, quality‑focused and safety‑conscious.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

Required skills

• Containment, trunking and basket installation.
• Trapeze support system installation.
• Lindapter system usage for ceiling rod hanging.
• Reading electrical/technical drawings.
• IPAF operator certification.
• CSCS card.

What we offer

• Pay rate £16‑£18 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
• Standard 8‑hour days, Monday‑to‑Friday.
