Electrical Installation Lecturer – FE Teaching Role

About the role

We are recruiting experienced Electrical Installation Lecturers to deliver high‑quality teaching for Further Education providers in South East England. You will help learners develop practical installation skills, technical knowledge and industry‑standard understanding.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Electrical Installation lessons across various levels.
• Assess, monitor and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate teaching records in line with college requirements.
• Ensure workshop activities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that supports learner retention and progression.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Electrical Installation, Electrotechnical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Electrical Installation in FE, HE, secondary or adult learning settings.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Recent industry experience as an electrician, installer or engineer is desirable.
