Electrical Installation Tutor – Newcastle

About the role

This full‑time, site‑based position is with an independent training provider in Newcastle. The Electrical Installation Tutor will deliver Level 3 electrical installation training to apprentices, covering installation, fault finding, wiring regulations and practical workshop skills.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a mix of classroom instruction and hands‑on workshop sessions.
• Teach core areas including installation techniques, fault diagnosis, and compliance with wiring regulations.
• Support learners throughout their programme, providing reviews and progression guidance.
• Assess learner performance and maintain accurate training records.

Required profile

• Background as an electrician or electrical installer.
• Open to experienced electricians moving into training or existing tutors.
• Level 3 electrical qualification (or equivalent) is required.
• Teaching or assessing qualifications are beneficial but not essential and can be supported.
• Ability to engage and support learners at different skill levels.
