Electrical Maintenance Engineer – High‑End Residential

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a respected building services provider on a prestigious high‑end residential development in Wandsworth. You will be part of a four‑engineer on‑site team responsible for keeping landlord areas and luxury facilities operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose faults and perform electrical repairs and installations on single‑phase and three‑phase systems.
• Maintain emergency lighting, fire alarm systems and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Service HVAC equipment including AHUs, FCUs, VAV/VRF units and generators.
• Maintain pumps, motors, pressurisation units, booster sets and support water‑treatment testing, dosing and inspections.
• Keep accurate site records, logbooks and compliance documentation.
• Oversee specialist contractors, support audits and prepare quotations.
• Deliver a high level of service to residents, clients and managing agents.

Required profile

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level qualification in Electrical Installations (or equivalent).
• Apprenticeship background preferred.
• Experience in building services maintenance, ideally in high‑end residential or commercial environments.
• Strong electrical fault‑finding ability with good understanding of HVAC systems.
• Confident communication and client‑facing skills.
• Proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
