Electrical Maintenance Engineer – South Lanarkshire

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established manufacturing site in South Lanarkshire. The position operates on a pitman shift pattern and offers a stable environment with opportunities for development within a company that has nearly a century of manufacturing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive breakdowns.
• Perform electrical fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve issues on PLC systems.
• Conduct general electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs of buildings and facilities.
• Collaborate closely with process engineering and quality engineering teams.
• Support colleagues on project work as required.

Required profile

• Completion of a time‑served apprenticeship.
• Maintenance experience within the manufacturing sector.
• Proven ability to fault‑find on PLC systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
