Electrical Maintenance Engineer – University Campus

About the role

This permanent position offers a stable career within a large university estate, delivering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a variety of campus buildings. You will benefit from a 36‑hour week, generous leave and additional earnings through on‑call duties and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance on campus facilities.
• Carry out electrical fault‑finding, testing and compliance work.
• Ensure statutory electrical compliance and maintain safe systems of work.
• Join the on‑call rota after an initial period, working Monday‑Friday.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and fault‑finding.
• 2391 Testing and Inspection knowledge (advantageous).
• JIB Gold Card (advantageous).
