Electrical Maintenance Supervisor (Portsmouth)

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Lead / Electrical Supervisor to oversee planned and reactive maintenance across three client sites in Portsmouth. This hands‑on role combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. The role is full‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, with on‑call duties, and offers a salary up to £45,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and deliver electrical maintenance and repair works across multiple client sites.
• Ensure all planned preventative maintenance is completed in line with schedules and contractual requirements.
• Lead, manage and support a team of engineers, ensuring compliance with Mitie and site Health & Safety policies.
• Supervise subcontractors, ensuring works are carried out in line with RAMS and site rules.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and actively participate in training, appraisals, and development activities.

Required profile

• City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent electrical qualification.
• Ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
