Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

Join a specialist engineering team responsible for keeping the UK’s most iconic attractions safe and operational. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician you will work across rollercoasters, water rides, themed attractions and related electrical infrastructure in an outdoor, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily safety inspections, testing and pre‑opening checks on a wide range of electrical systems.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance to maximise reliability and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults using logical, methodical approaches.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and operational issues, including ride‑critical incidents.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC‑controlled equipment and automated systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and operational teams to ensure attractions remain safe and available.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings and manuals.
• Accurately complete maintenance records and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Experience in electrical maintenance within manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, automation or similar environments.
• Strong electrical fault‑finding and diagnostic capability.
• Hands‑on approach with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
