Electrical Project Engineer – High Voltage Projects

About the role

Join a leading international engineering business as an Electrical Project Engineer, delivering high‑voltage transformer and power infrastructure projects across the UK. You will act as the technical bridge between customers, engineering teams and manufacturing facilities, ensuring successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Support design review meetings and resolve technical queries.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams and manufacturing sites.
• Ensure compliance with UK and IEC electrical standards.
• Manage project risks, changes and technical issues throughout the lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven UK experience in power, utilities, energy or high‑voltage engineering.
• Experience with transformers, reactors or other HV equipment.
• Knowledge of UK and IEC electrical standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
