Electrical Qualified Supervisor (NICEIC)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor to act as our NICEIC Qualified Supervisor. The role involves technical oversight of electrical work, ensuring compliance with BS 7671, NICEIC standards and client specifications across retrofit and renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review, validate and sign off Electrical Installation Condition Reports, Electrical Installation Certificates and Minor Works Certificates produced by NICEIC‑qualified test engineers.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical supervision and guidance to electricians, test engineers and subcontractors.
• Carry out site inspections, quality and safety audits, and support internal and external audits (NICEIC, MCS, client).
• Identify trends, defects and training needs from certificate reviews and audits.
• Support Solar PV, retrofit and renewable energy projects with certification review and compliance assurance.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent recognised qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge.
• Inspection & Testing qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395).
• Previous experience acting as or supporting a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
