Electrical Qualifying Supervisor – Inspection & Testing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join a well‑established inspection and testing team in Bristol. The position is primarily office‑based, with occasional site visits to ensure compliance and quality of electrical work.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the named Qualifying Supervisor for all electrical inspection and testing activities.
• Oversee the preparation, accuracy, and signing‑off of EICRs, test certificates and related documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 (18th Edition) and relevant codes of practice.
• Liaise with engineers, project teams and clients to resolve technical queries.
• Support the development and maintenance of quality processes within the function.
• Attend sites occasionally to verify compliance and provide guidance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical inspection and testing, including a supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671 (18th Edition) Wiring Regulations.
• Qualification such as C&G 2391 or equivalent.
• COMPEX certification (current or previously held) is a distinct advantage.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑team and client interaction.
