Electrical Roving Engineer – Commercial FM (London Zones 1‑3)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced electrician to join our commercial Facilities Management team on a fast‑paced, mobile assignment covering London Zones 1‑3. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across a high‑quality portfolio of commercial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive emergency repairs on lighting systems, emergency lighting, switchgear, distribution boards and fault finding.
• Provide basic mechanical support such as checking AHUs, FCUs, minor plumbing adjustments and monitoring water temperature.
• Ensure all work complies with current building regulations and health & safety standards.
• Log all completed jobs accurately using a digital handheld PDA system.
• Act as the professional face of the FM company, liaising directly with on‑site building managers and tenants.

Required profile

• City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent NVQ.
• Knowledge of 18th Edition wiring regulations (BS7671) is highly desirable.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.

What we offer

• Salary up to £41,000 per annum
• Fully Expired Zones 1‑3 Travelcard
