Electrical Shift Engineer – 4 on 4 off, London

About the role

We are seeking a multi‑skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to join a major facilities‑management provider on a large, static site in central London. The role operates on a 4‑on‑4‑off shift pattern, covering both day and night periods.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical and mechanical systems, including lighting, power distribution and HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults on control panels, motors, pumps and Building Management Systems (BMS), responding quickly to breakdowns.
• Perform electrical installations, modifications and upgrades in line with BS7671 (17th/18th Edition) standards.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in electrical installations.
• Proven experience with 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
• Willingness to work shift patterns and adapt to on‑site demands.
