About the role

Are you an Electrical Test Engineer looking to specialise further in inspection & testing, with ongoing training and clear long‑term development? This is a secure, permanent position with a well‑established national employer delivering high‑quality testing across major sites.

Key responsibilities

Perform periodic inspection & testing and produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) for retail and commercial sites.
Carry out inspections to BS 7671, identify and categorise defects, and provide practical remedial recommendations using digital reporting systems.

Required profile

Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician) and C&G 2391‑52 (or equivalent) plus C&G 2382 (18th Edition).

Required skills

EICR production and reporting.
Knowledge of BS 7671 standards.
Proficiency with digital reporting systems for electrical testing.
