About the role
We are seeking an Electrical Test Operator for a 12‑month contract in Bolton, working with a leading defence and aerospace client. The role involves testing and certifying electronic equipment to ensure compliance with product certification procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out test tasks within the operational business.
- Certify products in line with product certification procedures.
- Maintain product certification and approval through regular audits.
- Set up testing equipment and procedures.
- Perform tests on electronic equipment according to test instructions.
- Execute simple fault‑finding on electronic equipment.
- Keep accurate test records and report faults for rectification.
- Ensure compliance with all manufacturing process procedures.
Required profile
- Formal technical engineering or craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 (TR23/TR21/ONC).
- Further education certificate to HNC level or equivalent.
- Experience in electrical/electronic testing.

What we offer
