About the role
The Work Shop is recruiting an Electrical Test Technician for a successful manufacturing company in Romsey. The role supports technical, quality and production functions, helping to bring new products to market and ensuring product reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with new product prototyping and evaluation.
- Test batteries, chargers and related systems.
- Assess internal product quality issues and customer returns.
- Maintain battery stock and manage goods inwards.
- Support the Quality Manager with internal inspections.
- Collaborate with the Technical department on customer re‑works.
Required profile
- Excellent written and spoken communication.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work within a team.
- Previous electrical engineering experience (preferred).
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems.
Required skills
- Advanced IT skills.
- Experience with ISO systems.
- Electrical engineering knowledge.
